Charities can benefit from celebrities without risk

People may not be fully aware that Rainbow Funds can provide the much needed auction items for your charity fundraising events at no risk to you or the charity. My wife is involved with a couple of charities and organises fundraising events for them over the course of the year. One of the real challenges is finding good quality auction items, even more so now when people are less able to give and more cautious about what they buy.

Rainbow Funds could be the answer; you can choose from a massive variety of memorabilia and collectables from the World of music, film, sport and history and present them as auction items at your charity event, if they don't reach the reserve price you simply return them to Rainbow Funds. Effectively, this removes any personal risk for the organiser and the charity whilst enabling you to offer truly unique and special gifts to your supporters.

Rainbow Funds work with charities in a number of ways to help them raise much needed funds, please check out the web site to see some other ways they can help you and, how they are already helping other charities.

Memorabilia Memo 2.12.09 - Muhammad Ali & Joe Frazier

Joe Frazier vs. Muhammad Ali Dual signed Frazier Limited edition presentation
Supporting Zoe`s Place Hospice

This great item of signed Joe Frazier Memorabilia pays tribute to his remarkable career and his trilogy of fights with Muhammad Ali.

The presentation consists of a full size Everlast glove and a 16" by 20" print that shows Frazier knocking Ali down in the 11th round on the way to beating Ali in 1971, The Fight of the Century. At the signing, Frazier commented that to this day he never knew how Ali beat the count, as it was the hardest punch he had ever landed!

Each personally signed by Joe and they are displayed in a box frame with a stunning surround, dual mounts and a plaque, measuring in at a large and impressive 97cm by 55cm.

Part of an exclusive closed signing that took place on Tuesday 26th May 2009, both are supplied with a photo of Joe signing.

Joe Frazier was a remarkable fighter and the only man that Ali was genuinely frightened of, hence his bitter and sometimes extreme verbal abuse of Frazier. To this day Frazier maintains that he could have come out for the final round in the third fight, Thrilla in Manila, and such was his anger with his trainer Eddie Futch for throwing in the towel that he never spoke to him again.

Memorabilia Memo 24.11.09 - Roger Federer

Roger Federer - signed limited edition presentation - supporting Rainbows Children's Hospice

Roger Federer is considered by many to be the greatest player in history.

He has won 15 Grand Slam men's singles titles and in 2004, the Swiss became the first man since Mats Wilander in 1988 to win three of four Grand Slam singles tournaments in the same year.

In 2006, he repeated this feat and became the first man in the open era to win at least ten singles tournaments in three consecutive years. He is also the only player to have won both the Wimbledon and U.S. Open singles titles in three consecutive years (2004-2006).

In 2007, when Federer won his third Australian Open title, he became the only male player to have won three separate Grand Slam tournaments three times.

In winning the 2007 Wimbledon title he equalled Borg's record of consecutive titles. By winning the 2009 French Open, he has now won all the majors.

This superb presentation is an officially licensed product and contains a ball personally signed by Roger. Above is a photo of him in action and the entire presentation is box framed in a tasteful surround with cut aperture double mounts and a plaque detailing the players career.
